The nose was dominated by leesy and cheese cave aromas with apples, hay and a little bit of chalky minerality. Medium-full bodied with lots of acid and decent length. After a few days, the leesy aromas had subsided somewhat and allowed a little more of the fruit to come out. I'm inclined to think this was flawed.

A newbie's reflections on a week of Loire Valley wines; 2/19/2010-2/28/2010 (Wineberserkers.com): Lemon furniture polish and watermelon bubblegum. Also a bit maderized. I originally panned this wine with a below average score but have thought more about that oxidation. Perhaps a damaged bottle.
