  Ready to drink. The acidity is quite prevalent. Very ripe cherry notes. Would not buy again for the price. Good but not great for a Poggio di Sotto Rosso.

  This is very pretty now and fully mature showing wonderful balance and charm. Red fruit, flowers on the nose and a medium bodied palate with red fruit, herbs and touch of spice. Not a blockbuster but a great vintage and point of maturity for this wine.

  We were skeptical, but the boss at Gian's said a nice drop and he offered us a friendly price :-). Thanks, Guido. It was very good. We could feel she probably will slip away by next year, but in the meantime singing nicely.

  Bottle breathe two to three hours
  
  Pale ruby and with some sediment.
  
  The wine is full of perfume, red currant, violet, mineral and earthy. Complex, powerful, and elegant. Not difficult to approach now, especially when compare with their wine from 2010. This 2007 RdM can drink now, but have potential to develop further.
  
  Absolutely one of my favorite Rosso di Montalcino!
  
  Now - 2020

  Light ruby color with distinct ripe plummy note. Medium body, but still can feel the high alcohol level that has the structure and just enough tannin to balance the acidity. Lovely wine and probably the best Rosso di Montalcino I have ever tried.
