Aromas and flavors of grass, apples, honey. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, finishing with lively acidity and a little heat (it is 16.1% alcohol after all). This reminded more of a Sauvignon Blanc than a Viognier due to the grass and apple notes and noticeable acidity. I prefer my Vioginer's with more pit fruit, citrus, and floral notes and a creamier texture.
Paso or Anything at Campisi's: Blind 1 - White - Smells quite obviously like a Rhone wine with lovely sweet peach nectar aromas. Sweet on the attack with nice apricots and white fruit flavors. Slight edgy bitterness creeps into the finish. Pretty sweet, but I like this.
