Somewhere between Dream's note and Xavier's note. Perhaps because I lived with the wine in my glass (yes it was refilled a few times while also kept chilled) for the duration of the 4 hour dinner. The most exciting moments came in the first hour, when the chill was good and the body firm and crisp. As the night wore on, and the wine warmed closer to room temp in the glass, I saw glimpses of chalk and earth begin to overtake the fruit - not saying this is a positive or a negative, but for me it's always fun to be taken back to place. Having said that, I think I'd be drinking these in the near as opposed to mid or long term. As with all/most (Dom) rosé wines, you've got a great wine for pairing, so put some thought into it and make it count.
These young Dom Rosés are always so orange in colour. Still very fresh but with lots of development both on nose and palate. Some brioche but mostly peach and mango. Quite tart, some tight citrus. Nice to drink right now but maybe a little underwhelming for want of complexity.
