  First of 2 bottles that kind of fell off my radar. Made orecchiette with bacon, snap peas, and ricotta and wrestled with what wine to pair- originally was leaning to sauvignon blanc or soave, but several pairing sites suggested that a Chianti with some age would match well. Yup. The minor cherry notes and still! vibrant acidity worked well.
  Wine is clearly aged - clear around the rim- maybe to a 1/16 of an inch, but still ruby at the core. Acidity and fruit linger over a long smooth finish.

  Excellente wine, long, beautifull, complex, clean, after 10 years it would least more 3 to 5 years. Perfect moment to drink.
