  Great ten year old Pinot robe, darker core spilling into ruby expressions. Pure red fruit, integrated spice, medium length. Not quite feminine, nor masculine. Just good balance. Firing tonight and certainly worth another find

  Matt's housewarming (Skokie, IL): Rubbery and very, very much reduced, to the point of unpleasantness. There seemed to be some good red fruit and spice elements there, but that was all eclipsed by the horrid smell of rotten eggs. I didn't get a chance to revisit this with some air, alas.

  BORGOGNA NOVEMBRE 2015; 11/5/2015-11/7/2015: Tasting at the domaine. 20% diraspato - 70% legno nuovo.
  Serrato, algido e austero. L' olfatto regala toni freschi di erbe alpine, cuoio e terra, il frutto è poco visibile. In bocca è un classico 2008 da vigna fredda, acidulo, scarno e spinale. Richiede piatti sostanziosi, che si sposino con i suoi tannini puri e graffiati. Buono e particolare
