  Needs 30+ minutes open or decanted. At 14% it was more like a Cali wine with allot of alcohol on the nose, vanilla and oak, licorice, dark berries, cherries, some menthol. The cab franc did not show through as hoped but not a bad wine at all. Full bodied mouth fell with structured legs. Nice fruity palate with some spice on the finish and rather dry as well. Unfair, this wine after 1 hour was EXCELLENT. The fruit opened and it was a delight. The only change from the original description was that there was significantly more sweet red fruit on the palate. Possibly worth a 91 at this point.
