  This unfiltered wine has matured very elegantly. Opened and poured into glass about 1/2 hr before drinking. Lovely balance of fruit, smooth tannins, and woody/leathery overtones of age. Delicious paired with Italian soft cheese and a grilled sirloin steak.

  Age on rim, leafy foliage nose on a background of blackcurrants with woody notes on palate. Slightly disappointing.

  Clear, deep ruby in the glass. Clean, medium intensity nose of black fruit, oak, forest, metal. In the mouth: Big, modern style.... medium+ intensity flavors of blackberries and plums, forest, toasty oak, metals. Medium+ body, medium alcohol, medium, ripe tannins. Needs decanting.
