Rich red fruits, spices, a pinch of aniseed. Super smooth tannins. Lovely balance. Ripe fruit, but not a sweet or porty wine. Oak well absorbed by fruit; merely provides a silky cedar overtone. Excellent drinking on a Winter's night with or without food. Very well crafted wine. Drink until 2018-2020
In a very good place right now. Clean and balanced with a seemingly even contribution from all 3 grapes. A little prune points to the blend. Some fruit sweetness early but soon settles. Won't get any better.
lovely perfumed pot pourri nose, fruit still has weight and is building great lavender characters - alcohol at the back but not intrusive - drying oak helping with the long finish - drinking very well and no rush
