Tasted a night after the 2009.. Interesting contrast. Dujac is masterful at producing his reds in a chiseled, refined manner, a bit leaner than some similar quality producers, but elegant and refined.
The 2008 needs an hour in the carafe in order to dispense with some pronounced tannins. It unfolds with fruit from the center first, darker strawberry/ cherry and smoke/ earth in a lighter weight but Morey- appropriate passage on the palate. Worth drinking now while waiting for the more substantial 2009.
