Opened for 45 minutes, which was not enough. Should have been 2 hours. Went well with pork stew

Drank on Super Bowl Sunday with dinner. We had a bunch of apps and cocktails beforehand so only had a small glass with dinner but it was in a good place an paired well with stuffed shells and meatballs. Go Chiefs!

I have had the 2006 and the 2010 of this wine recently, and while I generally consider both of those vintage to be much better overall, this 2007 Uccelliera was much better in my opinion. There is great energy here, with some red tones to the fruit, spice, floral and tobacco. This is flat out delicious. Both the 06 and the 10 were darker, richer and rounder, but boring. This was my last 07 unfortunately.
