Opened an hour before drinking. At first sniff was quite Burgundian but then developed the famous barnyard aromas. White pepper, purple fruit, really delicious and still quite primary. Ready but no rush at all.

Bordeaux April 2020 First bottle of this in 2016 was good, spot on and a lot of fun .. a bit like Chave 2008 but with less body, but truely good, but over the last 4 years all other bottles (3) have not been very good, very closed or just bad quality, flat, and a green dry'ness, I do not get it, even with a good decant nothing good or pleasant comes out ... In my opion to avoid and not up the price tag - it taste like a low quality Cotes de Rhône, and would probally never be very good.

Peppery with meaty and leathery notes on the nose. In the palate i could feel some pepper, spices, umami and some mushromy notes. Fine tannins and balanced acidity, overall is at his peak i believe. The flavour os not as intese as other shyraz from Rhone. I do not expect this wine to last very long now it drink beautifully and perhaps is in a downward trajectory in its evolution.
