Full, gun-powder infused nose, with both dark and red fruit. Intense and surprisingly powerful. Quite oaky, but good integration. Medium-fullish, oaky and generous palate. Gun-powder, gravel, sand and dried herbs. The fruit is both red and dark (cranberries) and slightly lean (the vintage?). Surprisingly full and forceful for a Beaune. The Boucherottes is on the border to Pommard, and we thought this showed in the wine.

Elegant, red berries with some oak, slightly lean fruit making the tannins rather noticeable for a Côte de Beaune (more so when tasted alongside some 2009s). Young, 86 p?

Previous taster had a good description in gun powder. I did not know what to expect from this negotiant and year. Bottle was enjoyable.
