  • Garrigue and macerated red fruit on the nose. A solid balance between fruit and spice, but the fruit is a little muted on the nose, it took some time for this to open. On the palate the fruit really showed much better- very much in stride with everything else. This is a subtle wine, but a good one, with nice earthiness, softening tannins, and still good primary notes shining through. This wine is really in its drinking window, and there is nothing left to gain here, or anything to help it remain. Lovely now.
