This bottle wasn't as good as the first I tried. The wine had an earthy taste and smell I don't recall from the prior bottle. It got better after decanting. I would say to decant at least 4 hours.

This was a well balanced very nice bottle. The flavors were full rich but not over ripe dark fruit. This still had a nice freshness to it and could be held longer however this was drinking pretty well right now. Drink now to 2016

Deep, structured Stags Leap red. Good tannins, Mouthfeel. Blackberry, trace of vanilla, chickoree.
