Pop and pour. ApexDrinking better after one hour open. Intense fruit powerful but well-balanced showing the great quality of the 2008 vintage. A gran cru Vineyard for Oregon

Another excellent bottle, and unfortunately my last. This showed an elegant nose of underbrush, soy and dark cherry, with hints of fresh herbs and red flowers. On the palate, red and black fruit, black tea, soy and earth. With extended air, some mushroom notes emerge. Good acid holds everything together nicely. The fruit is still there, but also some tertiary elements. In a perfect place today and I think it will hold for a while.

decanted 30 min for notable fine, silt-ey sediment, in the glass for 2 hours more. dark bing cherry red, w/just a hint of almond skin tint to the rim; exuberant black cherry & wild black spices, maybe some compost & soil; continues to show as youthful on the nose as on the subsequent palate; richly - fruited, mostly black, w/still pertinent acids & fine-grained tannins.
in its plateau, with plenty of enjoyment ahead. for me, after many bottles, this has been successful at every point of its evolution.
Ruby red, a bit rusty at the very edge. Deep nose of smoked meat, wet bark, exotic tea and black cherry fruit. Intense palate of cherry, earth, strong teas, perhaps a bit of citrus rind. Great focus, excellent balance - still just a bit tightly wound, but an outstanding pinot with grace and fine texture, as well as complexity. Surprisingly youthful, and cellar-worthy yet. Reminds me of a great Pommard.
