  You gotta love how well Spanish wines age, and this LAN is a delight for those who like 'em aged: smoky, cedar, spiced-raspberry, balsamic-strawberry, and cinnamon all come out in this 11 year old wine.

  Had with marinated London Broil. Very good pairing. Decanted for 1 1/4 hours.

  Nose: Black berries, cherries and licorice with hints of black currants and tobacco
  Color: Ruby to Purple hue
  Palate: Cherries, raspberries with hints of wet stone and some smokiness
  Finish: Medium body wine with nicely balanced acidity and medium tannins, with high alcohol
  Thoughts: This wine has aged well and still has lots of flexibility and will be something we keep on our cellar.
