Dark color. As others have noted, the nose is port -like with some earthiness. Palate is black cherry and prunes. Not complex, but a great value at $11.

The nose reminds me of port with aromas of prune, dark cherry, and earthiness. On the palate, same flavors as are present on the nose. Agree with other reviewer, dusty tannins. Great with plate of cheese and crackers

A nice little wine, aromatically similar to port but far less alcoholic. Rich layered flavors like port but also light and bright on the palate. Ready now but will probably hold up another couple of years. Good match for carnitas tacos.

Aromas of black fig, and stewed meat with touches of warm stone, herbs, and cooked cherries. The palate has light fruit flavors with chocolate, dusty tannins and wood. good acidity keeps this in check. the finish has prune notes with a coffee tinge and is short /medium in length.
