This has a great Sauvignon Blanc character without being a copy cat fruity wine, and without overdoing it on the oak and richness, although it is rich for SB. The nice mineral aromas and richness make one think of Chardonnay, yet it still has the vibrant acidity and suggestions of pineapple/tropical fruit. Full flavored, rich, but structured and well made from obviously high end Napa fruit. 10% Semillon; 30% oak for 7 months. A mere 3000 cases made.

The big boy. Apricot and full fruited. In a friuliano way -- big structure, savory, lobster stock. Tasty, even if at $25.
