A Mostly Grand Cru French Night at Heirloom (Heirloom, St.Paul, MN): Dark red plus color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 90 minutes. This was reductive to start and pretty tight. There's a wonky earthiness to the nose and medicinal minerality, soy, dark red fruits. The palate is showing pretty sour deep red fruits, oak, firm and gripping tannins. This feels very youthful as you might expect from the vintage. Was getting better with air. Score reserved. I'd like to revisit in 5 years or so.
