  • The quality of this wine really seems to vary from bottle to bottle. This time around it was really a nice wine, especially for this price point.

  • Wish I had only paid $7 for this bottle (like Skully); if so I feel I would have gotten my denero properly vested....
On the positive side the acidity was strong enough to cover up for the over-abundance of oak, but the downer was that even if the oak to acidity ratio was only 2:1 then it still wouldn't have been enough to give the impression of balance.
Good fruit, even some decent minerality there, both of which helped to (almost) make this one enjoyable. What it SORELY needed but never saw was a decent dose of malo, preferrably a secondary pass-through. Oak fiends should rejoice upon opening this baby, their wait will have been surely rewarded!

  • For the money at $6.99 this is a very nice wine with quite a bit of character. Wonderful nose of fruit with an array of melon, green apples and lots of minerality which all linger on the palate.

  • Was not a fan of this one. Can find much better in same price range.

  • Keeping in mind this is a $9 bottle of wine, it is not so bad. Pale yellow. Melon driven nose, that is a bit tight, and leads to a very light summer chardonnay showing melons, flowers, and riper apples. A touch to the flabby side, and could stand more acidity and crispness, but competitive for what it is.
