  NOSE: expressive; tropical fruit aromas dominate, with a moderate mineral note and a hint of flowers in the background; no oak scent.
  
  BODY: pale yellow color; medium-light bodied.
  
  TASTE: very dry; lots of mineral flavor; hint of petrol; nice embedded acidity keeps this from being ponderous; 13% alc. not noticeable; not oaky; surprisingly, still very good on Day 2. Despite my being impressed that this wine has held up as well as it has to this point, I’d recommend drinking these now if you still got ‘em.

  Revisiting what was one of my Epiphany Rhone white wines. And inspiration for the Two Shepherds GB. Best when not served over chilled. Meyer lemon, stone fruit, some minerality. Love the 500 ml format! sorry its gone, will be doing a 375 for 2011 and maybe 500 ml 2012.

  NOSE: intense tropical fruits with creamy oak in the background; smells a lot like a NZ Sauv. Blanc.. Consistent with prior bottle.
  
  BODY: nearly colorless – shade of green-yellow color; medium bodied.
  
  TASTE: minerally green pear / golden delicious apple combo; minerals come on strong on the finish; hint of papaya; dry. Not very complex, but a very enjoyable quaffer nonetheless. Gut impression score: 88-89.

  NOSE: loads of canned pear and sugary pear juice; hint of musk; not complex, but does smell very nice.
  
  BODY: yellow-tinged color; medium-light bodied.
  
  TASTE: very nice mineral/fruit (pear) balance; as soon as this hit my palate I thought it was going to be pretty sweet, but the r.s. is kept to a minimum here — not totally dry, but pretty close; medium length finish of medium intensity; 13% alc. is not noticeable; not complex, but it hits its couple notes with confidence. I liked this, and so did Ashley: the 500mL was gone in less than an hour.
