Decanted about an hour, but even the initial taste was delicious. Dark purple in the glass. 14.9% alcohol, but more subdued and elegant than typical high end California fruit bombs. Dark cherry, a little chocolate, moderate tannins and a pleasant medium long finish. Quite enjoyable with duck confit and roasted rosmary and garlic potatos. Drinking nicely now, but I bet this ages nicely for another 10 years.
