  Anniversaire du Baron (Le Serpent): En magnum.
  Puissant, ample et complexe, dans un style austère, presque tannique. Une énergie impressionnante pour un vin de cet âge. Il prend beaucoup d’ampleur avec l’aération (pas de surprise c’est toujours ainsi chez Ramonet!). Très belle bouteille. 93 pts

Delicious out of the fridge, it was 10X better as it warmed up towards cellar temp, with greater mid-palate weight and an infinitely longer finish.   Good to try this again after 6 years. Nose exhibits gun powder, spearmint, and ripe yellow fruit. It has good mid palate attack with generous power and concentration. It has entered into its peak drinking window. Based on the acidity profile, it is not for the super long haul. 92-93
