Very crisp and clean unoaked Chard. Good light grapefruit and grass...subtle mineral notes. Clean finish that lingers nicely. Pairs well with Potato-Leek Soup (Girl and Fig recipe) and Maple-Glazed Salmon on a bed of spinach with basalmic.

off the wine list at bungalow 44 ($42)- unoaked and it shows; nice structure with citrus/grapefruit and tropical flavors and vibrant acidity- refreshing and tasty- stood up well to heirloom tomatoes and gorgonzola with basil and balsamic (name a chardonnay that can do that!); i hope the trend to less oaked chardonnays like this continues; a real winner and a nice QPR (retails for $20-22)

Purchased for $20 at Wine Exchange...advertised as a classed-up Toad Hollow (i.e. un-oaked chardonnay). Nose of grapefruit and grasses, very clean on the palate with that same grassy, grapefruity taste that can be found in a Kim Crawford un-oaked chard, but with more subtlety and style. Very nice indeed and a great food wine...good for summertime too.

Crisp and clean, hints of butter, especially with food. Still with subtle minerality and a clean, crisp finish..

Crisp and clean overall. Citrus and hay hints with a mineral finish. Stands up well with even spicy foods.
