  • Three Blind Flights Dinner (Crown Wine Cellars, Hong Kong): Bright, light totally transparent red, like a Chambolle-Musigny. Nose is woody, sous bois but young, lots of high notes, a whisp of nail varnish remover, , no fruit, slightly sour. Palate is light, high acidity, good precision, a bit dilute but great quality of cherry-stone dominated fruit........high acidity. Thin in the mouth and although it improved on the nose and palate with time in the glass it remained a bit tart and thin. Served blind and I guessed a 10-year old villages Chambolle-Musigny from a good producer..... so I was somewhat surprised when it was revealed.
