  • Big wine in the classic Napa style. Tasting nicely now, but could still cellar for at least a few more years- A strong example of what Syrah can do when patient hands, good grapes, and a knowledgeable wine maker meet in the middle.

Lots of rich, dark fruits, almost chewy in texture with a lingering dryness. Allow to decant for at least 1-2 hours for the flavors to mature.

  • I love this producer and this wine. Nice dark, high quality fruit on the nose. A hint of cinnamon/spice. The flavor is dark cherries and black fruits. Super high quality tasting fruit with a hint of high quality candiness. A lit pepper and black licorice flavor. Deep tannic structure with great dryness. A long, delicious finish with a very, very minor hit of alcohol.

  • Wine n Dinner in Eugene (Eugene, Oregon): C: Opaque Ruby
    A: Med+ Intensity
    Veg[Wet Cabbage], Dark Cocoa, Fruit
T: Dry, Med+ Acid, Med tannin, med+ body, med+ finish
Chocolate, Grape Candy [good quality tho not "cheap powerdery grape candy"], Cocoa Nibs

Very Very good, opens up very nicely too. Don't let the grape candy tasting note fool you into thinking this is a "Candied wine"
