Fiercely, joyously foaming upon opening, lean and crisp with all the the gorgeous red fruit I was craving--which was not much at all. Just an airy deliciousness touched by berries. Beautiful match with broiled sardines and tuna.

Very pale pink. A wonderful effervescence makes the body seem richer than it would normally be in a Rose. Lime and strawberry nose. Watermelon and strawberry in the mouth. Makes my mouth water. Good acidity makes this a great pair with lighter foods. Delightful and easy drinking.

Pale red/orange. Nose of mineral and hint of strawberry. Nice spritz on the palate with light strawberry, bramble and minerals. I thought it off dry, and my wife thought it sweet. Of course, as usual, I was right. Good with some Greek appetizers and moussaka. A nice wine, but I liked the 08 vintage of this wine better.

TN: Dinner with friends (Hugl, Ametzoi, Carlisle): My last of a few bottles bought at the beginning of summer. We enjoyed this as an aperitif on the back patio at the end of a hot summer day. It was very well suited to such a purpose. The effervescence was very refreshing. Light berry flavors and served chilled, it hit the spot.
