  Excellent wine. The tannins are nearly resolved. Probably won’t get much better after this.

  Tasted blind. This was the only wine I confused for Bordeaux. My guess was the 2003 Domaine the Chevalier. The blend does have 23% cab franc, so that didn't help. It is ripe but there is a ton of old world in this bottle. I got blackberry, cedar, sweet spice, leather and earthy undertones. Very rounded with fine, caressing tannins, medium acidity and a long finish. This should age easily for another decade.

  A lot of fruitsmostly cassis. Great finesse. Excellent with « bavette de boeuf à l’échalotte »

  This bottle was much better in flavor, balance, acidity and nose than the last one. Also, the cork was normal on extraction. It took about 30 minutes in the glass to open and remained delicious overnight. I do not believe this is a long keeper and is obviously affected by bottle variance.

  Silly me ! I should have read what I wrote before... opened with a big BBQ steak and was very disappointed... then found it excellent after supper then read what I said in the past two reviews !
