Absolutely spectacular. Bright red fruit. Subtle earthy nose. Could almost be mistaken for a Right Bank bordeaux! One of my favorite things about Diamond Creek is how pronounced unique flavors can be.

From 375ml; this was delicious; the nose showed ripe cassis, blueberry, some tobacco, a hint of herbs, violet, and just a hint of damp earth. The palate was full of fruit, but still showed really lovely balance with very good depth and a long finish with a hint of chocolate. Pretty close to fully mature in the smaller size, I suspect a full bottle will have plenty of life left.

Really nice wine, needed an hour or so to open up and then was rocking.
Very fine sediment on the last glass, stood up for just a couple days before opening- would suggest longer.

Dark and thick with currants, cherries and berries over an oily finish. Great wine.

Very good. I like the Volcanic Hill better than this one. This one has some fruit, but the soil really shows through.
