I opened a couple of this delicious Tuscan wine for an Italian night. I expected that guests would drink a couple of glasses however, it muched the taste of all the party guests that at the end we nearly consumed my cellar holding of a box. In terms of timing of opening the bottle I can only recommend: perfect. It is now the time to enjoy this wine. You might have a window for another couple of years, but it will not become better. There are still 63 bottles in the community cellars as of today...drink it latest in 2018 for the 10-year anniversary of harvesting this wine? I will keep my last bottle for this occassion for sure. Any feedback from the rest of the community highly appreciated.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, lemon, raisin, coffee and vanilla. It tastes like blackberry, lemon, chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Once again - this is really well made. Very clear and distinct structure and precision. Type wise this is a sort of new world Bordeaux blend with little Italian characteristics. Notes of tobacco and cedar. Good fruity mouth feel with cassis and slightly peppery and dry aftertaste. Seems to have closed down a bit since my last bottle. Not that it feels oldoe declining, but I wonder if it will come back better or simply shut down?

Soft, smooth, cherry, cedar and cocoa. Very good. My only complaint is that the cork was practically welded into the bottle. I have never experienced a cork that was so difficult to remove.

Great nose of blackberry and cherry. Didn't decant and didn't really need it. This was drinking nicely, not much complexity but very easy to drink. On the third day this is still drinking well. Not sure this will improve much but very nice now.

Eye: dark inky purple color. Nose: blackberries, smoke, menthol. Palate: good structure yet smooth, tannins well balanced, good fruit, medium to full body. Long finish.
