Savoring the Summer (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Medium red color. PNP, drank a glass plus over 2 hours. This was another sublime Justice from Mark Vlossak. This wine has evolved beautifully over the years as so many of the '08's have. Maybe this doesn't quite achieve the fireworks of the '07 version, but it is not that far off, and time may get it even closer. I love this nose and its amazingly complex mix of dried flowers, sandalwood and herbs. The fruit is a mix of wild berries; strawberry, raspberry, with an influx of dried forest floor, incredibly elegant and vibrant, this just goes on and on. A gorgeous wine that has years left in the tank. 94+pts.

Deep, enveloping nose of autumn leaves, dried fruit, aromatic teas. Silky textured palate with flavors of cherry & apricot fruit leathers, tea and earth. Perfect balance with depth and focus. Long finish. Truly exceptional!

Oregon Pinot Noir Conversion; 1/17/2020-1/20/2020: Enjoyed this wine more than most in this series. Loved the funk on the nose. Relatively intense cherry fruit and mineral on the nose and palate. Med/long smooth and silky finish. Starts a bit thin but picks up body with air. Would drink again.

Waited too long - cork broke and was somewhat oxidized. Bummer.
