Bing cherries, spice and subtle earth reminds me of a Volnay, but thicker in texture. Best to wait for it to open up to soften edges. It becomes rich and unctuous if you do. A little short in the finish, or I'd give it a higher score. Very enjoyable. I look forward to drinking more of this and other 08 St Innocent Pinots over the next few years.
