  • A great change of pace from the California pseudo-Chardonnay “Fumé Blanc” style of Sauvignon Blanc. It’s a very light hay color, and there are some chives and green peppers on the nose; it’s grassy in the classical Sauvignon Blanc way. Very light-bodied, this would be nice for a hot summer’s day. It’s bracingly acidic, has a long finish, and seems to have layers of different herb flavors, which is impressive for something so affordable. A wonderfully clean wine at a great price ($12).
