Louis Latour White & Red Burgundy Tasting (Monterrey, Mexico): Light straw with faint green hue. Nose offers pure pear and flowers with no buttery nor oaky notes. In the palate, it is medium bodied, mineral, citric and has a dash of dried honey. This has marked acidity that exceeds my pleasurable treshold.

I had a diametrically opposed tasting of this wine tonight compared to earlier notes -- It was the epitome of a young and robust Grand Cru Chablis -- intense acidity, rocking stoniness (so to speak...), and complex, citrussy minerality. It was delicious on its own (no food) and promises to age beautifully. I scored all I could -- unfortunatley only 4 bottles.

Oak monster! This is ripe, somewhat buttery and heavy on the oak. Screaming Cali Chard. Not the qualities I would look for in a Chablis.
