Pleasantly surprised. More complex with a hint of oak (or some wood) than other Oregon Pinot Gris. Bought at a reduced price, so didn't know what to expect.

Bright straw color. Nose: Asian pear, honeydew melon, and Meyer lemon fruit with almond, chalk, vanilla, and orange blossom. A hint of sulfur blowing off. Medium body on the silky palate: more Asian pear, honeydew melon, and dried white currant with sweet chalk, toasted almond, orange peel, vanilla, and honeysuckle. Medium acidity. Lingering sweet chalk, orange peel, and almond on the moderate/long finish. Very attractive, though slightly off-balance. Nicely done nonetheless.

Very light color. Nice fruity nose, with some vanilla. Honeyed fruit flavors and lots of oak on the palate. Soft, round mouthfeel. A chardonnay lover's Pinot Grigio.

Wonderful straw color with fruit and hay on the nose. Lovely Pinot Gris with great zippiness at the end. Will definitely get this one again. Paired well with spicey food.

Second tasting of this in the last 30 days. Far more expression of fruit than some of the softer Italian offerings on the shelves these days....
