Once again from Magnum, and once again a revelation. More leesiness than I remember, but otherwise intense oxidative-styled goodness with a solid acidic core. The only Champagne we opened, or needed to open for that matter. Spectacular.

From mag, delicious. Complex nose with hints of citrus, caramel, apple, minerals. Palate round and pinpoint mousse. Spectacular...would have rated higher if I could have sat with it for a while. More to come! Drink or hold...

Outstanding. Out of a magnum. This is one of those wines in which each of its element is in perfect proportion. The citrus and orchard fruit, the creamy and yeasty notes, the tertiary scents, the minerals, the bead and the cut; all perfectly balanced and complementary. Bravo.
