Drinking beautifully. Had it with venison and boar. Immaculate pairing. The wine kept opening as the evening went on. Very consistent with the tasting notes and such a beautiful lingering finish.

drank 30 minutes after decanting. Nose seemed concentrated, with a little ripeness but not quite cooked fruit. Plenty of Asian spices and new oak on the nose. Palate was more refined and silky than expected. After one hour in the decanter the nose was even more fragrant with dried herbs, potpourri, and definitely sweet fruit but not overripe or jammy. About 2 hours after decanting this hit a plateau, not getting better but also not falling apart. Still kinda OK after 3½ hours.

This bottle is drinking quite well after 15 years of rest. Tannins are soft, but still present. All the smells and tastes are in this bottle that one would expect from a Peter Michael. Only regret was not drinking a Les Pavot alongside to compare.

Decanted and returned to bottle. Drunk after 2hours. Deep garnet almost purple. Pronounced legs after a swirl. Colour consistent to the rim. Strong cassis, little mocha. Some oak but almost fully absorbed. Opens over time. A lot left in this wine Will wait at least 5, possibly 10 years for its big sister

ripe fruits, lots of cedar, grilled meats. Still pretty tannic on the palate.
