Tasted blind next to 06 Wesmar RRV: Less fruit on the nose. More earth, smoke and oak. Purple fruits with an nice smooth finish. A worrisome vintage but this seems to be in check and not too heavy and a bit rustic. In a good drinking window. I would think now to 2014 would be good. Tough to beat this in the sub $20 pinot market.

drinking well. Soft tannins, earth and mushroom. I would drink now, this one won't get better.

Bigger than we expected but definitely an Oregon Pinot. I would wait at least another year before drinking.

Decants for roughly two hours. Drinking beautifully. Load of black raspberry fruit, smoke, and spice. Showing its vineyard typicity very nicely.

With grilled king salmon. Drinking well, showing the smoke and respberry signature of the site.
