Very good, but not great. Lacked depth. Finish faded without any fanfare. For the retail price of $45 (if I recall correctly) this wine is a bit overpriced.

This was quite good, but not excellent or inspirational. Big fruit on the intro and mid-palate. However, there was almost no finish. Mid-weight. The end of the mid-palate was disjointed and had a dash of tannins tossed in - didn't know what to make of it. Typical Cali Pinot, fun to drink, just overpriced. That said, I must be frank, the winemaker is a great guy, I went to the same law school and played basketball with him. We were not close, but I have nothing but positive things to say, both in my personal experience/interactions with him, as well as his wine, which is routinely rock solid.

Drinking quite nicely. Better than the last bottle (or perhaps my palate was more disposed to Pinot tonight). Spicy earthy notes on the nose along with nice fruit (cherries and berries I thought while my friend thought pomegranate). Nice wine.

Decent Pinot from Santa Barbara area of CA. Light fruit and earthiness on the nose. Some alc on the palate behind the characteristic Pinot flavor. Good, but not GREAT. Nice wine for a Monday evening.
