Love it for what it is: a California cherry-bomb. In 2017, probably 7 years after its release, this wine still hits with an explosion of fruit on the nose. Cherry liquer and hints of spice. Thick, balanced, with enough acidic grip to keep this big Pinot from feeling flabby. Delicious.

I drank my other bottle in 2013, and this time it was even a smidge better than that excellent performance. Still light, supple, and balanced but with a bit more staying power in the finish. The spice and fruit is beautifully integrated. Perfect for the season. One of Kent's finest Pinots, in my opinion.

Sadly deficient notes. Baked strawberry nose. Rich palate, ripe red fruit and spice. Very nice.
