Light golden color. Spicy stone fruit and yellow apple. Viscous, moderate sweetness. Pure fruit but looser structure than previous bottles without as much intensity on the palate. Still very good and in no immediate danger of decline.
Medium yellow. Rich, honeyed stone fruit. Viscous and moderately sweet. Great purity of fruit, but a little fatter and less acidity than the last bottle. Not the usual Trimbach cut. This could have used more tension and snap to balance the richness.
Bright yellow. Gorgeous mix of citrus rind and peach. Essentially Vendanges Tardives level concentration and sweetness leavened by terrific acidity. Another fantastically balanced Pinot Gris from Trimbach which should provide drinking pleasure for another 5 years.
