Light yellow. A bit spicey, lots of apple and lemon, then tons of mineral and stone notes. The nose on this evolved quite a bit in the glass. Great long dry finish. Very good Chablis. Should go another 10 years. No premox at all.
Starts of with a rich, waxy nose, and a fair amount of minerality. The wine has a creamy texture, with strong citrus flavors and medium acidity, good flint filled finish. Interestingly with time, a definite hazelnut component emerged, which my wife described as almost “Nutella” like, and in fact, I think she’s right! Very open and drinking well now.

(Christian Moreau Chablis 1er Cru "Vaillon") Even more potent minerality on the nose than the basic Chablis. Very fresh with great spine and nice stony orange fruit. Long minerally finish. Great potential.
