In the bouquet beautiful dark berries and well dosed oak and cedar. On the palate juicy dark berries, sweet spices, some pleasant sweetness, beautiful acidity, round tannin and a great length. Very beautiful wine in its early maturity stage. Delicious!

What a special wine. Over 80% Cabernet with Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Deep purple in color with hints of blackberry, cherry and plumb. Still super dry on the finish, but harmonizes well with the still very prevalent fruit. At 16 years old, still so youthful, it was amazing. This will continue to drink at peak for another 10-15 years with ease. I wish this was my first bottle of a six pack, but alas not to be--one and only.

Tasted blind. This is in a weird spot right now. I called it CdP from 2007 vintage. That’s how far off I was on this wine. Once it was revealed, I quickly picked up the sweetness of the Cabernet fruit on the finish. However, there was a kirsch liqueur dominant character on the finish and I detected alcohol so it threw me off as Grenache from a hot vintage. I will keep my hands off my remaining bottles for a while to allow this to harmonize. Blind tasting is a great equalizer to remove label bias.

Drinking beautifully. Well balanced core of black fruit, leather, touch of iron and sweet finish. 10-15 more years ahead of it.

This was lovely. Luscious mouthfeel, warm blackfruits with perfectly ripened soft tannins. Drinking perfectly now
