  Absolutely fabulous. Concentrated, balanced, spicy, a bit raisiny. The last of four bottles and the best. Hard to imagine that it will improve with more time.

  This was actually a Sforzato di Valtellina. Excellent wine. had voer 2 nights and enjoyable both nights.

  Wow, what a delightful bottle of wine. Aromatically there's sweet strawberry, some herbs, faintly autumnal, and great freshness, almost reminds me of a Sonoma Coast Pinot. Big, broad palate that just saturates with damp earth, sweet cherry-raspberry, and a twist of appealing bitterness that reminds you it's Italian. Mature, supple tannin, gentle acidity, one of the better expressions of Nebbiolo in recent memory.

  Brick garnet with clear signs of ageing. Bright. On the nose a mix of black cherry, truffle, rose, treacle, orange, dry meat and some heat. On the palate firm acid backbone with some RS but balanced, soft but chewy tannin, meaty, rose, rubber, blood orange notes. Overall, a complex aroma and palate, well balanced.
