Nose of barnyard, earth, black cherry, and sweet and sur fruit, more of the same on the palate, big body, very tasty, rich fruit, mouth filling fruit, time to drink up after 30 years in the bottle, long, long, flavorful finish. Easily one of the best 1989 vintage that I have enjoyed. Uploaded photo.

Opened nicely with a barnyard nose and hints of bacon and old dark cherries, more of the same on the palate, smooth, very tasty, supple mouthfeel, showd great legs in the glass which suggests it would age for another two to three years no problem. Easily first place of two Red Burgundys tasted blind with Mike.
