6/12. Decanted for about 90 min. Showing much more loosely knit than the last bottle with some oak but now also plenty of tobacco and leather notes on the palate. Unlike the very smooth Malartic Lagraviere this has a more sandy texture. Very good Bdx and of similar quality as the 09 Malartic Lagraviere but curious to see if the Brane will be the better wine in the mid term.

Very nice and in a good place for drinking. A decant for 30 mins is helpful.

There’s just no place like Bordeaux. My party drank this following an aged Napa Cabernet. Barnyard and roses. Fantastic and great QPR.
