Boston Wine + Poker, Salem, Mass.: Tasted blind. Golden color. Minimal bubbles. Nice dose of bitterness and a green apple flavor. I was sure this was an aged blanc-de-blancs brut champagne. Very tasty. Drink soon.

Very fine bubbles and not as racy (or bubbly) as my prior bottle from a few years earlier. That said, this was very good and a great value in the sparkling wine category. Good balance of mineral and fruit, with pear and brioche notes. Paired well with fried softshell crab and pasta. Wish it was a bit more zippy, but given it's on its 20th year, I really can't complain.

Slightly amber tinge to a golden color with delicate bubbles. Nose honey and golden raspberry. Palate dry, a fruity tinge, strongly mineral. A savory bent.
Still drinking decently well, if stored reliably would have confidence for further development for at least 5 more years. 91 pts
