  • decanted 30 minutes and drank over 2 hrs, light in color, at first a whiff of barnyard, then some cherry. A complex wine worth the effort. one more bottle in cellar will be interesting to have in another 8months-1year

  • Bouteille bu sur 2 jours

Rubis translucide.

  • Light red color. Very austere on first opening (I had it at a restaurant and it was not decanted). Mid to light weight wine, with some sour cherry and smoke to it. Still very hard to drink. Bitter finish. Seems like it may have more there, but it needs either time or air.
Drank some from bottle next day, and it was appreciably better, having opened up with smell of cherry and strawberry. More earth and tar evident. Still lean but more forgiving. Still bitter finish but in a good way.

  • Delicate and restrained, tart red berry, damp earth, mineral, and a touch of game. Lean, precise, with a delicate texture. Overall, quite pleasing and even more promising.
