Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 95 points

  • Clearly I was more taken than Allen with a white wine as old as this still being good, as my score is uncharacteristically higher. What is here is lovely - the fruit is mostly gone, leaving dry acidity. Light brown in color, the nose has caramel sweetness but very solid fresh flavors here. You would never figure its real age simply by tasting this. As it sits, it picks up weight and fruit, starts showing Botrytis, giving it more full flavors.
