Sure it's getting long of tooth, but this rustic, classic MAV is still a delight to drink and, of course, is well suited to many food pairings. In the case of this bottle, I did enjoy the first night's offering more so than the 2nd, which maybe speaks to its age factors. Elsewise, no detailed this time.

Jadot Chateau des Jacques Beaujolais (London): I like it? I love it. Much more open than the 2006 Clos de Rochegrès from the same producer - deep black fruit with a compact cool fruit feel with very sweet tannins - very fine, confident with a feral under current. These Chateau des Jacques do somewhat challenge what is accepted as Beaujolais - in and of itself this is great wine. I'm drinking this as a £20 replacement for awesome Burgundy. Great stuff - still young, let it rest. Or drink the ass of it and buy more - you wont find this price/quality up the road in Cotes de Nuits.

Nez sur les fruits rouges, poivre, léger dessous de bois. Tanin très soyeux peu concentré, beau fruits. Un vin qui a bien vielli. Très bon.

Lighter style red wines: Very meaty, milky sausage, soft nose. Comparatively rustic for a Bojo, but liked it very much.
